From the locker room: Oakland Raiders reflect on London win and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium experience

At Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the Oakland Raiders won the first NFL game on Sunday.

Some players talked with Sky Sports about the experience within the week in London.
Oakland topped the Bears 24-21 at a thriller, following Chicago had scored 21 right to take the lead, mounting a drive late in the fourth quarter.
Both teams now enter their bye week, although we now welcome Carolina Panthers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the second match at the brand new NFL arena.
Just moments after they had secured their victory, a variety of players in the Raiders locker area talked only to Sky Sports concerning the week at London the sport, and the arena experience. Here are a few of the greatest responses…
Extensive receiver Hunter Renfrow:Feels good to get a win. It turned out to be a rollercoaster, wasnt it? We watched early, they arrived back but its kind of like golf – it is not how you begin, its how you end. And we ended well.
Cornerback Gareon Conley:Feels good guy. Long road game. It was supposed to be a house game! However, it feels good to get this team triumph.
Linebacker Tahir Whitehead:Man, a whole bunch of feelings today but complete all Im doing great just excited happy that we ended up victorious. It was an emotional game, a part of a match but we weathered the storm
Safety Karl Joseph:Weve got the win! That is all that matters
Guard Richie Incognito:Great team win. We were resilient. We lost a couple of occasions and men responded well and had the match won. Turnover late but we just kept punching and got the win.
Renfrow:A great deal of fun. It carries me back to my own high school days at which we played with baseball and we played with a lot of you games and games away.
I feel like this week we will return in the year and believe:this has been the week we sort of came together as a group. We took some measures in the perfect direction, although we didnt figure it out.
[Getting away from home for so long] has assisted just with the camaraderie since we havent seen our homes for a week along with a half/two months and then weve got four more road games coming up. So it is just a fantastic time to bond and possess ourselves as our own family.
Conley:It had been difficult adapting to the time zone. I am still tired. Nevertheless, it is what it is, you need to get it through, youve got to practice difficult you set a play tough and come together and find a way to win.
Dakota Allen:It had been quite different. Getting accustomed to the time shift, a different place and everything but I feel as though we actually ready very well this whole week and I really feel like thats why the result was exactly what it was I give credit to the coaches and my teammates to get that.
It took a few days to adapt to this jet lag and just to be able to sleep a full night but after we all got corrected, were focused.
Whitehead:Coming to London early unquestionably helped. We felt as though we were dragging this season being out for a week and a little hoping to get adjusted, it helped with becoming on this point zone and getting corrected to all. I would definitely say coming out early helped a lot
Incognito:Last time [with the Bills in 2017] we came out first and did the exact same excursion – we stayed for the entire week. I think is advantageous. It is great to get over here and fight off this jet lag and get rehydrated and get a few days to decompress rather than coming in last minute and having to proceed
Linebacker Nicholas Morrow:Londons trendy man. I was stunned by the weather. It reminded me of school because I was at the [Greenville ]. Its like things and cold but it was glowing! So it was really beautiful and it is a great pace and I enjoy it.
Cornerback Daryl Worley:It was definitely something fresh. To be in another country for a complete week, eight-hour time difference – most guys feel as their bodies never adjusted but we certainly felt as though we had the upper hand just coming out early, getting our practices away, getting used to the climate and everything like this, so everything was very good.
Renfrow:Stay positive, remain positive. Only control what you can control and go out there and attempt to score points on crime.
Allen:We only had to return to what we do. Similar to what we did in the first half. Crucial our keys, do our job and I feel like that is what we did towards the end once we finished up and got the win.
Conley:There isnt anything very special to state, you just come together as a team and remain inside. It is a sport and before the clock hits zero, you simply stay in it. Each play is anext play mindset
Whitehead:Keep your head in it. Do not get too overwhelmed. Just do your work. Do not begin moving off the deep end and creating stuff, just stick with the game program and that is exactly what we did and we could make those stops as it relied.
Running back DeAndre Washington:Stay composed. We knew going into the game, it was likely to be hard-fought. Charge to [the Bears], that is one of the best teams on the planet. We knew it wasnt likely to be easy so the whole time, we just told guys and even just commented in half-time:only stay prepared, you know theyre going to make their run, we only need to weather the storm and make sure we complete.
Incognito:Just keep going. Just keep running the ball. We were moving the ball well on them, we had been so we knew if we played our game and went outside and got yet another chance we can go and win it, having success, picking up first downs. We had a fake punt to acquire that 97-yard drive completed but we got hit and it it in the end zone and we are leaving with a win against a terrific team.
Morrow:We were simply telling each other it is exactly the same team we were playing in the first half. We knew what we could do. We had to settle in. We had to deal with some short fields together with the turnover and the reunite but I believe we came together and showed that we could play together and make stops when it mattered.
Worley:The greatest thing was that people understood it wasnt going to be easy with a group like that – they are Super Bowl contenders. We knew their defense was definitely going to play at a high clip, they were going to make bids, we were going to create plays and at the close of the day we only had to keep battling and stay together.
Whitehead:The atmosphere was electric and the scene, it had been more romantic between the fans and the sport. Last year in the lovers Wembley and everything just seemed so much away so youre not interacting together. I believe this scene is awesome as far as engaging the lovers.
Joseph:The stadium is amazing, man. I arrived here to watch Tottenham and Bayern Munich which was a terrific game also. Its a beautiful scene
Washington:It was amazing, man. I had a hell of a time in London! It seemed like it was Chicago fans out there, but the air was amazing so I certainly enjoyed myself
Incognito:Excellent. It was amazing. There were a lot of Bears fans however, the scene, the locker space, the area, it is first course. It really is. Plus it was great to be a part of it.
Morrow:The scenes great man, that the turf is good, it was loudly. It is large, its enormous. It was fantastic, I loved it
Worley:It was wonderful. The area, having the turf there and everything – which was definitely a big difference from this past year. The fans were loud. It certainly felt like over that to be only 60,000 individuals in the marketplace. It was wonderful.
